Maisie’s Green Brae has live music most Thursday and Saturday evenings on the outdoor stage in Tega Cay, SC, with live music or entertainment possible any day we’re open. Local and regional acts — rock, soul, country, acoustic, variety. No cover charge. The full schedule lives on the Live on the Brae page.
When we were thinking about what the brae should feel like on a Thursday night, the answer came easily: somewhere a band is playing, the smoke is going, and you don’t have to drive to Charlotte to have a good evening. Tega Cay didn’t have an outdoor stage worth talking about. Now it does.
Here’s what the live music program looks like and what to expect when you come.
The Venue
The stage is outdoors, on the grounds at 2150 Gold Hill Road. The lawn stretches out in front of it with enough room to spread — blankets, lawn chairs, table seating near the bar, covered porch for when the July heat gets honest. It’s an open-air setup, which means it lives and breathes with the weather. Most nights that’s a feature, not a bug.
The sound is real. Not a Bluetooth speaker pointed at a patio. A proper PA, wired and run by people who know what they’re doing. The acts we book understand the room: close enough to talk over if you need to, good enough to stop and listen when you want to.
The Schedule
Music most often runs Thursday and Saturday evenings, though live music or entertainment can land any day we’re open. Start times vary by act but generally land between 6pm and 8pm. Some Thursday sets are earlier and shorter — easy listening, bar-and-dining energy. Weekend nights run later.
Here’s what’s coming up on the brae:
On the Brae Next
The full and current lineup is always on the Live on the Brae page. New acts get added regularly. The best way to stay current is to follow @maisiesgreenbrae on Instagram or join the list — we announce new bookings there first.
The Grand Opening: U-Phonik on July 4
The grand opening of Maisie’s Green Brae is July 4, 2026. U-Phonik is on the stage. They’re a Charlotte-area act who’ve been a fixture in the region for years — the kind of band that fills a backyard and earns every minute of it. We wanted the opening night to feel like a neighborhood party that happened to have a great band. That’s what it’s going to be.
No Cover
There’s no cover charge for live music nights. You pay for your food and drink. That’s the deal. We want the music to be the reason you come out on a Thursday, not a barrier.
Coming with Kids or Dogs
Both welcome. The outdoor space has room for kids to move around and a children’s play area. Dogs are welcome on-leash throughout the outdoor space and off-leash in the fenced dog yard. Music nights are family-appropriate — the acts we book play for the whole room.
What to Eat While You Listen
The kitchen is open during all music nights. Plates from the smoker, starters, sides — the full menu is available. The bar runs through last call. You can order at the table or walk up. On busier nights, ordering early is smarter.
