Maisie’s Green Brae is open at 2150 Gold Hill Road, Tega Cay, SC. Walk-ins welcome. No reservations needed.
We’re open Wednesday through Sunday, and you can order online for takeout or delivery. If you’ve been watching and waiting, the wait is over.
We Found Our
Rhythm First
We could have waited until the Fourth of July to open the doors. We chose not to.
A soft opening wasn’t about holding back. It was about being honest. The kitchen and the floor work best when the team has had a chance to find their rhythm together — to get a feel for the pace, the plates, the flow of a real service — before a backyard full of a thousand neighbors on the Fourth of July.
So we opened early. Quietly. With walk-ins and no waitlist, with the smoker going and the taps poured and the stage warm. Four weekends to get it right before the big one.
Hours
We’re a small team building carefully. Wednesday through Sunday for now, with Sunday Brunch coming soon.
Walk-ins are welcome throughout, and you can order online for takeout or delivery anytime.
What’s Here
Right Now
The kitchen is doing what it does best: honest cooking, made carefully. Starters made to be finished. Mains worth ordering again. Salads and handhelds, a Wee Bairns section for the kids, and neeps and tatties if you know what’s good.
The full bar is poured and ready — around 30 taps of craft beer, wine, signature cocktails, and a whisky list worth knowing.
There’s a smoker out back, too. A different feature comes off it each day we’re open — roasted half chicken on Thursday, prime rib on Friday, the smoked trio on Saturday, beef brisket on Sunday until it’s gone — one part of a menu that reaches well beyond it.
The backyard is open: three levels of outdoor space, a brick stage patio in the middle where local music carries, a children’s play area with a fairy garden, and a fenced dog yard. Bring the kids. Bring the dog. Both belong here.
The indoor dining room is climate-controlled for the days July decides to remind everyone it’s July.
Dogs are welcome on-leash throughout the outdoor space, and off-leash with their owners in the fenced yard. They are not an amenity here. They are part of the point.

Grand Opening:
July 4, 2026
Our grand opening was Saturday, July 4, 2026 — Tega Cay’s birthday. It seemed right.
U-Phonik was on the stage. The backyard was full of neighbors. The smoke carried to the parking lot. Maisie greeted every person who walked through the door as though she’d been waiting all day for them.
She had been.

Any Day of the Week
Our public hours are Wednesday through Sunday. But the space doesn’t go dark on Monday and Tuesday.
The brae is available any day of the week for private events: birthday parties, corporate dinners, team off-sites, rehearsal dinners, fundraisers, anniversaries, retirements, graduations. Three levels of outdoor space, an indoor dining room for when the weather decides otherwise, and a kitchen that knows what it’s doing.
