Server
A good server doesn’t perform hospitality. They just have it.
A good server at Maisie’s doesn’t perform hospitality. They just have it. They notice the table that’s ready to order before anyone waves them down. They know the menu well enough to make a real recommendation, not just read one back. They make a family with two kids and a dog feel as welcome as the couple celebrating an anniversary.
We’re hiring experienced servers who are warm without being performative, efficient without being rushed, and genuinely good at reading a room. If that’s how you’ve always worked, you’ll feel at home here.
The RoleWhat the Work Looks Like
You’ll carry a full section in a high-energy, full-service dining room. Weekends are busy. The patio fills up. Large parties and private events are part of the rotation, and you’ll be expected to handle them with the same steadiness you bring to a two-top on a Thursday.
- Own your section — greet, guide, and see every table through from start to finish
- Know the food and drink menu well enough to sell it honestly and answer questions without hesitation
- Manage large parties and event service with clear communication and composure
- Work in the dining room or out on the patio as needed
- Coordinate with the bar and kitchen so the guest never feels the seams
- Handle the unexpected — a wrong order, a long wait, a difficult moment — without making it the guest’s problem
- Keep side work and section maintenance to standard before, during, and after service

We Take Care of the People

- Employee meal benefit
- A front-of-house team that actually works together
- Guests who come back. Neighbors who become regulars. A room worth showing up for.
A Note on Culture
Maisie’s Green Brae is Tega Cay’s gathering place — for families, for neighbors, for anyone who needs somewhere to land. The dining room is where that promise gets kept, table by table, shift by shift.
The servers who thrive here don’t need to be told to care. They already do. They treat every table like it matters, because it does — the anniversary couple and the kids’ birthday party and the solo regular at the corner two-top, all of them. Dogs are welcome under the table. Children are welcome in the chairs. Everyone gets the same room.
