Bartender
You’re not just pouring drinks. You’re holding the space.
The bar at Maisie’s is where a neighbor pulls up a stool after a long week, where a couple lingers over one more round, where the regulars feel like they’ve always belonged. You’re not just pouring drinks. You’re holding the space.
We’re hiring seasoned bartenders who are good at their craft and genuinely good with people. If you know your way around a full-bar program — craft cocktails, a serious beer list, and a whisky selection worth knowing — and you’re the kind of person who remembers faces and makes strangers feel like regulars, we should talk.
The RoleWhat the Work Looks Like
You’ll work a full-service bar in a high-volume, fun and casual dining environment. You will master original cocktails, rotating craft beers, a thoughtful whisky list, and wine that earns its place on the menu. Shifts may run lunch through close, evenings and weekends included.
- Execute the full bar program with accuracy and consistency — cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic
- Read your guests. Know when someone wants conversation and when they want a quiet drink
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and running — before, during, and after service
- Collaborate with the kitchen and floor team so the whole room runs well
- Hold your section of the Guest Standard without being told to
- Handle volume without losing pace or composure
What You Bring
We’re not training you on the basics. You come in knowing them.
- Minimum 3 years behind a full-service bar — not a beer-and-wine-only setup
- Cocktail fluency: classic technique, balance, execution under pressure
- Genuine interest in beverage excellence — you should want to know the list
- Ability to stay warm, steady, and sharp on a busy Saturday night
- TIPS or ServSafe certification (or willingness to complete before your first shift)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
We Take Care of the People
Who Take Care of the Brae
- Competitive hourly wage plus tips
- Flexible scheduling — full-time and part-time positions available
- Employee meal benefit
- A bar program worth knowing and a team worth working alongside
- Dogs in the play area off-shift. You’re welcome.
A Note on Culture
Maisie’s Green Brae exists because Tega Cay deserved a place to be itself. A real gathering spot — for families, for neighbors, for anyone who needs somewhere to land. We take the food seriously. We pour properly. And we believe that dogs belong under tables, not at home wondering where you went.
The people who thrive here are the ones who don’t need to be reminded to care. They show up, they hold the standard, and they make guests feel like the room was built for them.
