See What’s On6–9 PM · Modern Country, Storytelling
Modern country built on storytelling — songs that take their time and mean what they say. The kind of show where you catch yourself listening to the words.
See What’s On7:30 PM · 80s & New Wave
Big eighties, all night — the New Wave you grew up on, from Duran Duran to Depeche Mode. A band that turns the backyard into a dance floor and doesn’t apologize for it.

A brae is a hillside.
Maisie is a one-eyed foxhound with better manners than most. A rescue. Steady. Whole-hearted.
The name fits.
The founders came here for something rare: kids roaming free, neighbors knowing names, a town small enough to care.
So they built a table big enough to hold it.
Honest cooking. From the fire.
Half of this place lives outside.
Dogs welcome. Room for kids to move. Lawn games that don’t need instructions.
Live bands. Outdoor films. Community nights. Private events handled properly.
Not a patio. A backyard for the town.
Yes. Your dogs are family and should be with you. The brae has a fenced dog yard for off-leash time with their owners, and dogs are welcome on-leash throughout the outdoor space.
Yes. The brae has a children’s play area, including a fairy garden. Wee Bairns have their own section on the menu.
For most visits, just walk in — no reservation needed. For larger groups, we take reservations for parties of 6 to 12 through Yelp. Parties of 13 or more, call 803.81.HOUND or email maisie@mgb-llc.co and we’ll set it up.
Tell your server. Most plates can be made vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. When something can’t, we’ll say so plainly.
We do. Happy Hour runs Wednesday through Saturday, 2 to 6. Late Night follows Friday and Saturday, 9 to 11. And when the weather turns, watch for our Rainy Day Specials. We also run a standing discount for public school teachers and staff — the details are in our Back to School post.
Yes. We give our time, our tables, and our till to causes our neighbors are already carrying — from ChooseKindACD to the Humane Society of York County, where Maisie and Boomer came from. The full list, and why each one matters to us, is in our 2026 charitable giving post.
Wednesdays 11am–8pm, Sundays 10am–8pm, Thursdays 11am–10pm, and Fridays and Saturdays 11am–11pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. You can also order online for takeout or delivery.
