The Standard

What You Should Expect

Starters made to be finished. Amber poured without preamble.

A $20–$40 night out that makes sense.

Cool air when July is unforgiving. Open sky when it isn’t.

Live music and Entertainment. Fireflies and a Fairy Garden.

This is where Tega Cay breathes.

Good Bites. Good Bones.
Good Beer.

The Brae

Roots That Found
Their Way Home

A brae is a hillside.

Maisie is a one-eyed foxhound with better manners than most. A rescue. Steady. Whole-hearted.

The name fits.

The founders came here for something rare: kids roaming free, neighbors knowing names, a town small enough to care.

So they built a table big enough to hold it.

From the Fire

Smoke. Heat. Salt.

Honest cooking. From the fire.

  • Plates worth passing.
  • Mains worth ordering again.
  • Food that travels well. Better when you stay.

Common Questions

Are kids welcome?

Yes. The brae has a children’s play area, including a fairy garden. Wee Bairns have their own section on the menu.

Do you take reservations?

Not yet. Reservations and delivery will arrive after launch.

Can the kitchen handle dietary needs?

Tell your server. Most plates can be made vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. When something can’t, we’ll say so plainly.
